Deliveries

Delivery is available on request, dependant on location for additional fee unless otherwise arranged. Postage is available for selected bakes; please contact for further information.

Allergens

Please be aware that all orders from Vanilla Bean Bakery are prepared in a kitchen where gluten and nuts are present, as well as other allergens. Vanilla Bean Bakery cannot guarantee that any bake is completely free from these allergens due to the risk of cross-contamination. Full ingredient and allergen information is available on request. Please get in touch if there are any allergens that are to be accounted for when ordering your bakes.

Transport

Please note that once you have collected your cake Vanilla Bean Bakery are not responsible for any damages; please handle your bake with care. We are very happy to suggest transport recommendations for your bakes.
As a guide, we recommend holding the box underneath, avoiding the sides. When transporting your bakes, they should be kept on a flat surface; e.g. the footwell of your car.

Storage

We are very happy to suggest storage recommendations for your bakes. As a guide, we recommend cakes are stored in their box in the fridge to avoid damage, with exception of fondant cakes; these are to be kept in a very cold room and not the fridge.
Brownies, cookies and cupcakes are to be stored in their box in a cool, dry place.

Deposits and terms & conditions

By purchasing an order from Vanilla Bean Bakery you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions:
A non-refundable deposit of 50% (excluding wedding cake orders) is required to secure the date for your bakes, with the remainder to be paid the day before collection; payment can be made via cash, PayPal or bank transfer.
If a deposit is not received the date cannot be reserved for your bake.
For wedding cake orders a non-refundable deposit of £75 will be required to secure your order, with the remainder to be paid 4 weeks before the delivery/collection of your cake.
